I don't think so !
I was surfing around looking to see what there was to do and I found this.

This place is outstanding for a family trip to R&G, While Dad is running around the MPH track, the wife and kids have the option to visit this fantastic town during the day.
It seems to me that folks aren't getting the R&G picture. This event is every bit as enjoyable as the London Show and others. We have many of the same type venues. The host Motel is no different than all the others. We all hang around in the evening and talk with our friends and look at the cars. Sometimes we all go to a restaurants.
It's true that there are no trophies for show but that doesn't mean there is not a lot of folks there that want to see these cars.
Some believe that it is to far to travel. I say that it might be for some but I know there has got to be at least 500 Kit Car owners within 500 miles of Hastings.
To me, this is our NATIONALS. We need to start supporting it as such. R&G is the first organized event that started back in 1987. It started with a bang but has hit highs and lows along the way. Once folks start coming it will only get bigger and better. It's obvious there is something worth doing or it would not still be around.
We could make Hastings our annual event that can grow into something we all would look forward to. Look at Sturgis. Who would ever think that a small town like that could have drawn thousands to it because of motorcycles.
I know times are not the best right now but if we all spread the word and get involved we can make Hastings THE event for the Component car industry. I really feel it is just waiting to happen the same way all the other great venues do. Please offer any advise or help so that this event will stay. It will be what we as enthusiasts make it.
As a last resort we might want to get the Gasholes involved.
