Well the cam should have some Comp or Crane identification numbers etched in the rear cam journal. I always had heard they were Comp grinds.
As for the Sportsman roller block,if it has the raised lifter bores,and the factory spyder hold down screw bosses, you would use the standard hyd. roller base circle cams,not the retro-fit.
The new 427 FRPP engine assembly,appears to be using a standard base circle version of the Comp XR294HR cam.
