It's easy enough to tell....just pop off the intake and see what lifters are used. If it's a link bar lifter, then you can use a small base circle if the lift mandates it. If it uses a spider, then you can use the standard hydraulic roller lifters. If I'm not mistaken, if it's got a 1 piece rear main seal, it should be a roller block as well.

I wouldn't worry about the grind that's in it....just choose a new one based on the engine specs and what you want to do. If you need help, just let me know...I'm a Comp Cams dealer.
