You don't need to get your oil up to 212... not by a long shot. There's a thousand well written oil articles on the web if you just google "optimum motor oil temperature." Almost invariably, the articles will specify 185-210 as the optimum temperature, with a temperature at or below 200 preferred for prolonged engine life -- don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
