I have a SPF with a 460. I also got body damage from the side pipes hitting. The rubber mounts couldnt handle the tourque. I think some guys shim one side up to compensate for the movement. I went with the poly mounts as well. It is the way to go. Not much additional vibration to the cockpit at all.
