I did consider a type 1, but a type 4 is more reliable. It is still aircooled, and more powerfull
A type 4, can be "upgraded" to a 3 liter if needed.
A type 1 only 1914.
Usually the formular is:
1. Cheap
2. Reliable
3. Fast
Now pick 2 of them
I have picked reliable, and fast, with the right prices.
I will make it leigther, by using type 1 cooling system. I will also use double dellorto carborators, and pro-designed exaust for this project. All this should make this engine a good one - with about 110-120 bhp.
