Is this in a new car or was it working properly and now has developed this problem?
As already suggested, check the slave cylinder mounting bracket. Adjust the rod out of the slave and make sure that it's not bent. I have seen these bent, I have seen the adjuster nuts come loose.
I use a 3/4 inch Master Cylinder. This makes the clutch easier to push and I believe that you will find that the slave is designed to be used with the 3/4 inch. I am not familiar with the pedal system that you are using. If it is floor mounted make sure that the adjustment rod on the pedal is set to the correct length and that the locking nut hasn't come loose. I also use a 2# residual valve with the floor pedal as it keeps the fluid from the higher mounted slave from draining back into the Master Cylinder. Good luck, John
