Can't help you out there, Ron....but I have toyed with the idea of NO mufflers, but using chambered pipe like was on the Olds 442's of the 70's. IIRC, chambered pipe is even available in oval rather than round cross-section, which might just make that little bit of difference in a street car with undercar exhausts.

Other than that, I'd bet Cherry Bomb glass-packs would sound right.....small diameter would help avoid clearance problems.
