I have a Powermaster alternator with 2K. So far so good. Back in the day when you bought "Performance Parts" they were heavy duty and out lasted OEM parts. Today it's all cheap crap made in Mexico or China. If the Powermaster craps out, I'll get one from NAPA with a 2yr warranty.
