The Chevrolet that we fought against, and beat down in racing for over 45 years, disappeared in 2009 with the bankruptcy and bailout, they are no longer *that* company. ( BTW: Ford won )
Inspired From Wikipedia = The General Motors Company, also known as GM, On June 1, 2009 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This was completed on July 10 2009. IN that proceeding, it was reorganized into a new entity which acquired the most valuable assets from the extinguished GM.
GM is now temporarily majority owned by the United States Treasury and, to a smaller extent, the Canada Development Investment Corporation[5] and the government of Ontario, with the U.S. government investing a total of US$57.6 billion under the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP)
So I would say that Ford Vs. Chevy thing is sooo 20th century. --
I do like these new LS series motors that they are coming out with , they really look like a modern Windsor in their bolt patern etc
-- I look at them as american built engines. ( and - or - Canadian ) in the case of the EROD LS3.
The LS7 and the LS9 are made in Wixom Michigan, by hard working Americans. -- hell even AMG came over for a visit as they were impressed with the building of the new LS7/LS9.
so in the end -Windsor, Ontario -- Whats the difference >?
Looking forward to an LS7 in one of my cars at some point.
