High wear points include the pushrod to rocker arm fulcrum, roller bearings in lifter, lifter roller on camshaft, valve stem to rocker arm. I think I stated this earler most stock cams for example in Mustang 5.0 has a valve spring seat pressure 105 lbs and open pressure of 265 lbs in contrast to some high performance strokers which many of us have with spring pressures of 150 lb seat to 450 lb open for hydraulic rollers and as high 700lb? open for solid rollers. No oil will remedy a bad or overloaded design but will minimize wear.
