Hi Lear!
With regard to your re-starting issue, I believe that many have this problem as the fuel is literally boiling in the carbs while the car is parked. Then, upon restart, it takes a little while to get fresh, cool gas thru the system. Ethanol in the gas nowadays seems to compound the issue.
As for your turning issue, does anyone make road race style floats for those carbs?
