Well that is an interesting "mixed bag" of a build. First question: What alloy body is in use here? Kirkham (doubt that)?

Several things caught my eye right off. 390, I'm OK with that, but.... 3 speed trans? What? That aint right, period, definitely not right. Gauges, I personally don't like gauges that drift to far from the original look, the dash area is a HUGE part of the overall look and feel of the car. I'd replace them, they are not worthy of an alloy body build. Bolt on wheels, all though, these are pretty good looking fakes. I run the Compomotive bolt on with the fake center and they fool just about anyone, even when they look close, they gotta take a second look. So, I'm OK with the bolt on's, but it's a negative factor never the less.

What rear suspension is that? Doesn't look like Jag, hmmmm.

Kind of sad you take a nice alloy body and then use sub par parts for the build. I think $40K is close to the right price, $70K, no way. $40 ONLY because it has an alloy body, if it was glass, it would be just another run of the mill replica, nothing special, 25 to 30K perhaps.

I'd keep the 390, but under the hood needs some serious "cleaning up". Surge tank is off the wall, no turkey pan, looks like a low riser intake? I suspect you would be pushing another $10K to get it sorted out the way I would want it. Top loader 4 speed, maybe a TKO for starters. Add some gauges and under the hood stuff. I'd have to consider an upgrade of the wheels, after a closer inspection. So, perhaps for $50K when the smoke clears you got yourself a nice alloy car. That aint a bad call...
