I lost a simple bolt and bushing on a rear A arm of my Superformance on the freeway. I was going relatively slow (60?) because something felt loose. Let me tell you - when it let go, it was all I could do to wrestle it to the shoulder without going sideways. Felt like the entire rear end had broken loose from the frame and was steering the car like the tiller on a boat. If this poor guy had something simple like that let go at, say 100 while passing - it would be all she wrote - seat belt or no seat belt.
Hard to prepare for dumb bad luck.
