You could eliminate the banjo fitting by getting a straight thread male fitting (steel) that would be screwed into the caliper with an aluminum crush washer, with a male -3 AN nipple exposed and then attach a -3 Stainless flex hose.
PS: If the existing banjo bolt is aluminum, replace it with steel and use a fresh crush washer; otherwise refer to the post immediately below. It is right on the money.
