Well, I just spoke to my local Stanton County sherrif....he remembers me from high school, and we've talked a number of times. He did the VIN inspection on my Honda Accord a year ago.

Good news, he says if the VIN on the dash matches the VIN on the title, there is no need for a second VIN as long as it is as I represented it.

YEE-HAW!!!

He also suggested I get "antique" plates for the car, said it would save me some money. I asked if there is a mileage restriction for antique plates and he said "No".

Looks like things are looking up !!!!
