Lee Holman told me they moved the car from running with the sports cars to the GT class. As for originality, it's close. Power is from a medium riser 427. Brakes are upgraded as is the transmission from a top loader to a five speed TKO? 600. As with the original H-M built '64Fairland, the car is stretched . . . I think 10 inches. I don't know the exact weight, but it's light, or near that of a 427 Cobra. As for aero, drag is much less, thus the higher speeds as witnessed by the way it blows by cars on the straights.
