If I remember correctly, the factory beefed up the design at around #1670. Cars made after that are still subject to some sheer BUT they used heavier bolts and welded sleeves into the chassis hole to minimize the stress. If you have a car above 1670, the bolts should continue to be monitored and treated as a regular maintenance item. Lower car numbers should DEFINITELY buy the upgraded mounts and put the issue to rest. As for me, even if I had one of the later cars, I would invest a couple of hundred bucks in the upgrade and eliminate any concern. As much as we dump into "fun stuff", it makes at least as much sense to invest in safety.
