Paul, yours looks almost exactly like mine. It was handy for the cable company to have my old cable b/c they used the ball and spring for the clutch fork on the new cable.
I sure hope a production pickup cable will work. If so, I may well get a spare and keep it in the toolbox......they aren't hard to replace (although it is a bit uncomfortable, lying on the floor on your back with your legs up on the back end of the Cobra and your head up under the dash) and you can't drive it without one.
