October Breakfast - Bodega Bay - Sunday 10/3
Note: RSVP, Please, for this event (by PM or post as response)
Last October we staged one of our most popular breakfasts in Bodega Bay. The food was great, the views magnificent, and the cruise was unforgettable. So......let's do a repeat !!!
We have a special breakfast planned for Sunday, October 3th. We will meet at the Duck Club Restaurant in Bodega Bay at 10:00 am for some fabulous food. They have plenty of parking for us. The Duck Club Restaurant is part of the Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa. After the meal we will take a drive up the coast. Some may want to take a side trip to beautiful Armstrong Grove, a most impressive redwood forest.
DIRECTIONS: The easiest way (but possibly not the most direct for our southern folk) is to take Hwy 101 to Santa Rosa and then take Hwy 12 west into Sebastopol. Hwy 12 becomes Bodega Hwy in Sebastopol. Just keep going west (don't take either of the Hwy 116 cutoffs). Continue west on Bodega Hwy until it joins up with Hwy 1. Turn right and its about 5 miles into Bodega Bay. Don't miss the left turn at the Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa. For those of you with GPS or who want to "mapquest" the restaurant, the Duck Club is at 103 Coast Highway One, Bodega Bay. Their phone number is 707 875-3525.
CARAVAN: For those who are traveling via Hwy 12 thru Sebastopol, lets meet again at the circular drive of the Parkside Elementary school on Bodega Ave between Dutton and Washington. This school sits on a hill to the right (north) in the middle of Sebastopol. We will leave from there around 9:30 am.
We need to have an idea of the numbers to expect so please RSVP - either by PM or post below. We are up to about 20 people as of this date. The Duck Club wanted me to sign a contract but I talked them out of it with the understanding that I give them an accurate head count. Thanks.
