We all know the whole GM vs Ford argument and most cobra owners I have met would probably follow their hearts and have a nice Ford BB in their Cobras if it was a legal option in Aust...but it's not (well not without running LPG), so were put into a position of having to make a judgement call...

In the US, it's a different story, but I think here in Aust, it doesn't really matter - the essence of Cobra ownership is about living a dream and through Cobra ownership, I've met an absolute great bunch of guys with Ford small blocks, Ford quad cams, various GM LS series motors, Toyota quad cam V8's all living their dream and having a ball!

My view is to buy whatever motor scratches your itch and allows you to live the dream!

Regards....Paul

Well said Paul.
