Thats good to hear.
Now time for a tyre report.
As most know I replaced my tyres with the KU36 before I headed off on my trip.
Well after 5100kls driving in heat (39 degrees) rain (110mm) course blue metal highway and rough potholed highway, I can report I like em.
In the rain I never had an aqua planning concern (although some "puddles" where so big that the water came off the front of car and over windscreen) and I was driving at 100 - 110kph.
Here is a pic of a new tyre.
Note the name in centre and thin groove on R/H (outer) side of tyre.
Here is my front tyre.
Although hard to see the name in centre is just there and teh groove is plane to see. I would estimate about 1mm worn.
Here is the rear tyre.
The name in centre is gone and the side groove is just visable (groove is gone).
Tyre pressures where set at 32 to improve comfort.
