You forgot one option, continue with your Moroso and get a $69.00 filtermag with 600lb pull strenght and it will attact iron particles down to 2 micron. I am beginning to convince myself the dp across oil filters is negligible, so why not go with the 20 micron filters, the dp is still neglibilbe.

I got thinking about the FL-1HP with the 22 psig bypass. Do we really want that, sheet at 6K if I was at 21 psig differential then my oil pressure would be 30 psig instead of 60 psig (7-8 psid across oil cooler). Let the bypass do it job as long as it is clean side.

This is another example of marketing bs that buffaloed me into thinking normal filters do not filter with their low bypass setting. They all filter 100% of the time at operating temp and if they bypass you got big problems because your filter is plugging over!
