Quick update...
Ran into a little snag with the new Comp camshaft. The journals were .0008-.0009" over factory spec for an LS cam and it had .0015" runout on the center journal. Long story short, it wouldn't go in the block. (Yes, I eliminated the possibility of a bad cam bearing install by sliding a stock cam in....it went in as smooth as silk.)
Comp is making right on it....but it put a temporary pause in the mock up.
