I believe they are trying to replicate the original as painfully accurate as possible, therefore some of the features which may appear odd, may just be that. They even have the original leather straps on the hood!
New photos are being uploaded as soon as they are being received, which should continue through the night. Suspension shots were just taken under the car via Cell phone by one of my close friends while being dragged out by the ankles by the GM booth guards. Some of the suspension photos are already uploaded and, after closing I am having one of my operatives to sneak back over there and do some real camera work.
