saltshaker Jon For street driving in the summer time #10 is ok. If you are going to pound on the car or track it I would go up to #12. There is another issue, It's the fittings. Some are hiflow and others are flow killers. You may have a 1/2 line but the fitting are only 3/8 in the middle. Get hiflow fittings if possible. Summit ,Jegs, Speedway, Earls, and Aeroquip all sell fittings. They cost a little more but IMO do a better job and cause less restriction of oil flow and pressure. Rick L. Ps get a good oil filter also, see other thread about Fram filters
