Default Camaro gas tank

The Midstates cars use a 68 Camaro gas tank. It sits below the rear frame rail extensions, not between them. It is not very deep (maybe 9 or 10 inches, but I am going by memory), so does not hang low, but that is of course with the location and design of the Midstates frame. The filler is relocated as described in the earlier poster's post. The width of the tank fits between the fenders, but not between the frame rails. A pair of straps hold the tank up against the bottom of the frame rails. The relocated fill tube resides inside the rear fender wheel well and does not have to go through the trunk inner panel. Hope this helps someone...
