Wayne and Alan. I did what you guys suggested. I bought a Steeda quadrant and did some cutting, grinding and burring, to massage it into the pivot sleeve and weld area. I pinned it with one screw. I had to elongate the cutout in the fiberglass. A little back breaking work underneath the steering column but it looks and feels great. That was the one achilles heel on my car. It cost me a car show and a slow ride home in 2nd gear on Rt1 in July!!! I feel alot better now. Thanks again fellas.
