I have that engine in my wifes Caddy CTS. It is a great engine! In the Caddy it is rated at 304 hp ON REGULAR GAS !!!!!!! The Camaro is the exact same engine but with less restrictive intake and exhast and is rated at 312 hp ON REGULAR GAS!!! I have the direct replacement K&N filter in her car so I should be a little above the factory 304 hp. Also, if you run these cars on high test, the ECM allows to timing to advance so you pick up about another 10 hp.

It is amazing that for such a tiny engine, it also produces very strong low end/off idle torque. Feels like a MUCH bigger engine. I attibute that to the variable valve timing and the 11.3:1 compression.
