I am assuming that you mean the stoplight switch. You can remove it gently with channel locks. Just open the hood, no removing anything else. Don't crush it. use thread tape when installing the new one. You may have to take the old one to the parts store to match it, Advance Auto parts has them. Have the new one ready to go if you can and you will lose very little fluid or use a pipe plug in the MC when you go get the part. I have replaced mine twice. Heat from the headers will cook them. Kind of a poor design.
