Dear Replica Car Owner,
We need enthusiasts like you to spread the word about the SEMA Action Network (SAN) and encourage others to join at
www.semasan.com/san/join.aspx. Becoming a member of SAN will arm you with the knowledge and means to stand up for the hobby in your state and on Capitol Hill. Benefits include great informational tools like the monthly newsletter, “The Driving Force,” up-to-the-minute legislative alerts, tips to voice your support for the auto hobby, special invitations and much more! Best of all, enrolling in SAN is FREE, carries no obligations, commitments, or hassles. SAN can also send you informational packets and sign-up forms for distribution at your next club meeting or event.
Established in 1997, the SAN a partnership between enthusiasts, vehicle clubs and members of the specialty automotive parts industry in the United States and Canada who have joined forces to promote hobby-friendly legislation and oppose unfair laws. In an era where the government is becoming more aggressive towards the auto hobby, the time to act is now!
SAN and its dedicated membership have had an enormous impact on shaping government policy. The SAN has successfully:
• Enacted street rod and custom vehicle (including kit cars and replicas) registration and titling laws in 21 states.
• Protected classic vehicles waiting to be restored on private property from confiscation.
• Safeguarded legal off-road nitrous oxide use with SAN model legislation
• Defended enthusiast’s right to use aftermarket exhaust systems.
• Junked state level “Cash for Clunkers” legislation.
• Enacted legislation to lower taxes and fees for hobbyist vehicles.
• Advocated to ensure public lands remain open to responsible off-road recreation.
I look forward to working together towards the preservation of our hobby. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at (202) 783-6007, extension 38 or by e-mail at
