When I'm not working on the Cobra, my son and I love to ride in the dirt. It's been the best bonding experience you could ask for with a teenager. I have owned street bikes, too, but I got tired of running the traffic gauntlet every day to work. Too many cell phones and distracted drivers out there for me to feel safe any longer. And when the car makers decided to outfit their cars with daytime running lights, we motorcyclists effectively disappeared from the public's view. We used to be able to ride with our headlights on and stand out from the traffic. But no more....

We own several dirt bikes now. A Yamaha YZ250F, a Suzuki DR350, a Penton 175 Jackpiner, and three Honda CT 70s.
