Thanks for the compliments.

This really is a work of passion. I have been interested in these cars for more than 30 years now. I actually built a scratch built Daytona Coupe back about 10 years ago, hence the screen name. She is still on the road down in the Tampa area. A friend of mine has her now, I traded him the Daytona for a 1986 ASC Mclarean. I am 6' 3" tall and I just do not fit in the Daytona so I traded it for a convertible

I have been working on finishing out the frame these last few days. I hope to get some pics posted up soon, maybe tomorrow.

The pics posted up above, of the painted frame and the aluminum interior, are actually pics of an early prototype. The material we printed the frame out of, though great for detail and smoothness, was unacceptable due to strength issues.

Yes, we have the plug done for the body and our fiberglass expert is pulling the molds off of it as I type. We hope to have the first body layed up in early January.
