Rick,
Just of curiosity, how much oil should be in a a FE motor with:
Avid oil pan / Armando oil pan
1 filter
with and with out oil cooler

I am run 9 to 10 qts is this correct ?

Only asking cause you mentioned that why the extra qt of oil is for?
