Only problem with drum brakes is getting the wheels speed sensor to work.

However, ESC is not something that can be just bolted on to car. You need the ABS unit, the yaw sensor and wheel speed sensors. You then need a computer that is tuned to the weight and dynamics of the car. As was said in the previous post (by i think classic revival) BOSCH charge $1M to develop this.
