Check the triggering mechanism, IE distributor, sounds like the module may be dead. With everthing installed, and key on, disconnect the 2 conductor wire coupler to the distributor. With car out of gear, pull the lead from the coil to the distributor cap and lay it near a good ground (still attached to the coil) Use a short jumper wire and touch the two prongs in the coupling that was disconnected from the distributor,each time you break the circuit you should see spark at the grounded coil lead. If not check your swiched 12 volt source.
