The hard fuel line that runs along the driver's side frame rail ends at (essentially) the left front of the motor, a short distance from where the mechanical pump would be located on the front of the motor. The line can be changed of course, but 99% of the cars have the fuel line travel up the left front of the engine block to the carbs.
