A couple years ago I saw a prototype set of hemi heads for a small block chevy. Can't remember the builder's name.
The guy manning the booth told me he was planning a building hemi heads for the small block Fords also.
At the time I think the heads were priced around $5500 or so.

These would make a really cool looking and powerful SBF, especially with an aluminum block but in the end why not just choose any number of great combos that are available now- 4.6 DOHC, 5.4 , Ford racings (and eveyone else these days) 408 or 427 small block, etc... Would these heads make enough additional horsepower to really be worth the expense or is it just to be able to be exclusive and say you had a hemi head SBF?
