A Tremec TKO weighs a tad over 100 lbs. A Quicktime bellhousing is the only one that's that light. If it's a Lakewood, you can double that weight.

You also have to remember the 70-80 lb crankshaft, rods, pistons, cam, etc. All of that adds weight in a hurry.

I'd say Barry's 700 lbs is going to be close if not on the low side.

I agree with Rodger....I've put FE/TKO combos in Cobras without having to do any engine hoist modification. It will go, no problem.
