4.5 inches is too low for me. I currently am at 4.5 and have hit a few things at transitions where the crown was a bit more than expected.
I plan to bend the pipes 30 degrees at exit to fix this.
So, may I suggest you consider where you are driving and what kind of roads the car will be encountering.
