Not Ranked
I can't answer for the Backdraft guys, but I know of two Superformance owners who drive their cars on a everyday basis. One is in the Carolinas (search for Hal Copple here and read his very well written posts on his love affair with the "Great Stroker") and the other is here in New York State. Hal is from the top-down "I'll wear goggles and a flying cap" school of owners, Jim, the New York guy has a hardtop for the oh, nine months or so of "iffy" weather here in Upstate.
Both feel they are cheating when they drive anything other than the "toy".
So yes, you can do it. It is just a matter of determination and understanding that your toy car will get dirty, chipped, stared at, wet inside and out and that you are an ironman!
