I bought a mildly hail damaged 'repairable rightoff' for my P plate teenager a few years ago. 2 y/old Nissan Pulsar, 60000km, still under manufacturers warranty.........$3500. Less than 1/3 of its 2nd hand value. She's pranged it once, & can drive it into the ground, good value!!

The statutory rightoffs go for parts, and pretty cheap, you just won't know unless you turn up to the auction........these days just register online and you can observe live auctions to get an idea.
