In the first Cobra we built, just had a narrow rim as a spare. Also carried a couple of ocky straps and something to stop the rubbing of the inside of the boot lid and of course jack, wheel brace and wheel nuts for the rim.
Had a 15 x 10" rim with 275's on the rear. It would just fit inside the boot, the lid wouldn't close but you just used the ocky straps through the handle to the over-rider brackets. Just had some material to stop the tyre rubbing on the boot lid. The front 225 tyre would fit with the boot closed.
Never worried about it on any of the current Cobra's. That's what breakdown assistance is for these days.
