Wow Arthur, thanks so much for that post.

I went through it thoroughly with my mate Scott Hampson (Ozvenom) who'll be doing the installation of the FastCars IFS. He too was impressed with your approach and your marvellous attention to detail. Scott had in fact pointed out to me several "discrepancies" in measurements around the front end of the car when he was doing compliancing/roadworthy work on it prior to registration. It was at that point that we decided to go the FastCars route and all the little niggles will be addressed and rectified when the new front end goes in.

Scott has access to all manner of aligning equipment so he won't be faced with the difficulties you endured but he'll be taking several of your suggestions on board he told me. In his words "We'll get it nice and straight."
I want to upgrade the shock absorbers in the Jaguar rear end at the same time so the car will be brand new front and rear.

Thanks again for your interest and advice. Very much appreciated. It's always awkward dealing with a supplier/manufacturer on the other side of the world, even someone as helpful and professional as Ted, simply because of the distances involved and the inability to drop by for a chat or some assistance, so your advice from a hands-on perspective is invaluable.

I'll be taking plenty of photos as we go along so I'll keep you informed of our hopefully smooth progress.
