Hello all, I'm a new Superformance Coupe owner from the UK.
I spoke to Rick Weber a few times by email about possibly buying his car, but there are too many hurdles involved (financially, logistically and bureaucratically) in buying from the States and importing to the UK. So I found a very good 2005 UK example over here with only 3,000 miles on it. I have now increased that to over 3,500 and will almost certainly double its mileage this summer. These things are made to be driven, not stored in a garage for an annual beauty parade.
Having done a lot of competitive single seater and GT racing in the past, I want to race this machine occasionally for fun in an interesting race series just a few times a year. I'll keep it street-legal with its carpets, etc, but I might be asking a few questions about suspension options, tyres (sorry, "tires"
), and other details.
