If you must coat, ask the coater for a magnesium finish.
I've seen iridescent finishes which have subtle gray/green/gold blends, like a Canton pan.
An idea I like better is to consider
chroming them which goes perfectly with your chrome bodywork. Chrome, with all the letters removed from the BB's will look
serious. Of course, all of these will add pounds to your garage floor.
