I attended the PNW Historic meeting on the 7th, the deal is that they have had too many close calls on the track, so they will be enforcing some stricter rules during the parade laps, mainly no lagging back and then nailing it, the close calls have been in turn 3a/b, turn 7 (up the hill into turn 8) and turn 9 (blind turn @ the grand stand as this backs up heading into hot pits). So the SOVREN folks (who run the race) will be watching and there will some flaggers on the course and any violations the driver and car will be ejected for the day.
Dates are July 1, 2 and 3rd. We are allowed 20 tickets per day for the NW Cobra Club. There is no Coral on Friday but you can park in the Coral area (just no assigned spaces). Friday is less crowed day if you want to see some practice and enjoy no crowds. The event specifics are:
- Featured car is Jaguar with special emphasis on the 50th anniversary of the XK-E
- Guest celebrity is unknown at this point
- Cost is the same as last year:
- There will be a Karting Challenge again this year on Friday evening

Pacific Northwest Historics - Benefiting Children's Hospital If you can't get to this site, then send me an email (nadalin@prodigy.net) and I will email you the form.
This event raises money for the Seattle Children’s Hospital. There is a “kart” event on Friday for teams of 4 people; it’s a 2 hour enduro where each driver runs 30 min. The entry fee is $250 for the team, and then the goal is to raise pledges for your team. Not sure if anyone is interested but the teams fill up fast as they have room for 25 teams and I believe they have 15 teams now.
costs for the historics are as follows:
$30 per day for car and driver in the car corral,
$25 / $40 general admission (passengers)
$50 for the weekend for car and driver in the car corral
So if you’re interested please email me @
nadalin@prodigy.net and I will send you the form and information, I will need checks by May 30th to make sure we can reserve our spot(s).
