A big milestone yesterday - I finally sorted out the power steering issue, bolted the floor and seats in and made a few passes in the car. Silly grins and wobbly knees all round!
I know there's a bit more work to get it on the road but it's starting to feel like a real
car for the first time. The LS7 clutch is very nice and the short take-up seemed to relax after a few gear changes. For those who PM'd about the clutch, I say go for it.
A big thanks to Marty Govert for your effort over the last few weeks and for use of the workshop and tools. Sure beats crawling around on my back in the garage at home. Also thanks to the regular gallahs down at Kenmer: Rob, Ross, Doug, Darren, Ben, Graeme... plenty of 'helpful' comments along the way.
Shelbyfest 2012 here we come!
