Oh! I am sorry - I just saw that your horns have never been mounted. Virgin horns.
Those should never be mounted unless they have been properly prepared. GE Silicone Lube should be liberally smeared around the horn opening about 20 minutes before mounting in order to assure a smooth initial mount. Good luck!
