I too have a 91 Legendary Auto from Florida that I believe was a sister company of La Exotic. Yes my springs were soft in the rear also. I just bought Billboards (do not do this on this car PM me and I will telll my tale of whoe). Any way I used an old set of rear springs left over from my son in laws 03 Mustang Cobra and cut 1 1/2" from the coils and then installed Aldon Coil Overs with 140# springs. I did not think the upper bracket was substantial enough to hold all the weight of the car so I oppted for a split between the coils and the coil overs. Also installed coil overs with 550# springs on the front (iron FE)
Car rides stiffer but I like that. I had to make a spring retainer device for the rear lower spring seat but that was easy and I can explain
